    Yes - as should any contractor you work with. Without workers compensation and liability insurance you, your home and your livelihood can be at risk. If any of the workers gets hurt, and the contractor doesn't have proper coverage - you the homeowner are liable.

  • Should I Hire A Contractor Who Is Experienced In Not Just One, But All Remediation Services? (Fire, Mold, Water, Smoke)
    Yes, all too often more than one type of destruction has occurred. Fire damage almost always includes smoke and water damage. Water damage almost always means mold is close behind, and smoke damage usually includes mold, water and fire. In other words, it is really rare that one type of damage occurs without at least one other. When you choose your contractor make sure they are experts in all areas of restoration and remediation.
